The use of gas cylinders falls under regulations which are enforceable by law. In Great Britain this regulation is The Carriage of Dangerous Goods Act 2009 (as amended).
The Carriage of Dangerous Goods Act 2009 requires that cylinders are inspected at a prescribed frequency to British/European/International standards by an Accredited Inspection body or Approved Inspection Service.
Timesace Limited are structured such that, and have documented policies and procedures, to ensure impartial periodic inspection of “old” national specification receptacles to the CDG (as amended) for use in the GB and are approved to conduct periodic inspection of Transportable Pressure Equipment for use in the GB and EU in accordance with the ADR.
All customer information obtained or created by Timesace Limited in the process of periodic inspection will remain confidential except for information that the customer makes publicly available or unless required to do so by law.
Timesace Limited have an appointment by the GB competent authority (VCA) as a BS EN ISO 17020:2012 Inspection body for the periodic inspection of Old National Specification Gas Cylinders. See VCA Appointment Letter.
In order to maintain this appointment Timesace Limited have accreditation by UKAS as a BS EN ISO 17020:2012 Inspection Body for conducting periodic inspection of “Old” (National Specification) Gas Cylinders to the following standards;
Timesace Limited are dual approved as a Type C Inspection Service in accordance with the ADR for periodic inspection of new (Pi marked) Transportable Pressure Equipment for use in the GB and EU as shown in the ADR Approval to the following standard(s);
